Rove is a weekly subscription. You can cancel or pause anytime — no phone calls, no forms, no friction.
How to Cancel
Rove bills through the App Store, so cancellation happens in your iPhone settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Rove Dating in the list
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- Confirm
That's it. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing week, then the subscription ends automatically. You won't be charged again.
What Happens When You Cancel
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the current week
- After that, you can't send or receive new shots
- Existing conversations stay readable but you can't reply
- Your profile goes inactive — no one can discover you, but you aren't deleted
- Your data is preserved for 90 days in case you come back
If you don't resubscribe within 90 days, your account is fully deleted.
How to Pause
Rove doesn't have a separate "pause" toggle — canceling is how you pause. Your account stays in the preserved state for 90 days, and you can resubscribe at any time during that window to pick up where you left off.
If you're traveling, busy, or just need a break, cancel without worry. Your profile and data are waiting when you return.
Resubscribing
Open Rove, sign in with Apple, and tap to resubscribe. Your profile, matches, and conversations return exactly as you left them — assuming it's been less than 90 days.
Why Is This So Easy?
Because it should be. Rove works only if you want to be here. If the app isn't serving you right now, leave. If it starts serving you again, come back. Subscription isn't a trap — it's an agreement that can be ended the moment it isn't working.
